Average email deliverability rate is 79.6%

Email marketers see an average email deliverability rate of 79.6%. That’s just over three-quarters of your mailing list. The rest ending up in spam or undelivered. This can be down to multiple factors, one of which could be the email platform you use to send your emails from. In order to try and avoid this, we have shared the top 5 email marketing platforms that have great deliverability: Sendinblue – 95.4%, Mailjet – 94.6%, ActiveCampaign – 90.2%, Constant Contact – 89.4% and AWeber – 85.4%. Of course, it’s not always easy to just change your email marketing platform, so there are other ways to improve on your email deliverability.

Try not to use words that are associated with spam, such as ‘clearance’, ‘Earn $’, ‘Best price’, ‘Earn’ and ‘Passwords’ for example. Make sure you have email security in places such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC. These are all recognised by ESP’s (Email Service Providers). If you see your deliverability is dropping, there are some great tools out there to help hit the inbox one of which is Litmus spam testing. This can really help you reach the inbox of more customers.
