Spam emails are a huge problem globally for many email users. In fact, a recent survey found that 52% of people find spam emails a major problem. Therefore, it is really shocking to find that as many as 14.5 billion spam emails are sent around the world every day. That’s equivalent to 604 million spam emails every hour, 1 million spam emails every minute or 167,800 spam emails being sent every second.

When put into perspective, it is really worrying to think that this huge amount of emails are being labelled as spam every second, even if they contain valuable content. As an email marketer, you really want to avoid your email campaigns falling into the spam folder. Therefore, in order to ensure that you are hitting the consumers inbox, it’s key to have some sort of email security in places such as DKIM, SPF and DMARC.

Many of the top email marketing platforms will have these security features in place, such as Mailchimp, Sendinblue and Get Response.
